Albert Baggott, Jr.
Albert Baggott is a native Floridian and
lifelong
Florida
resident. He received the Bachelor of Science Degree
majoring in microbiology at the
University
of
Florida
in 1969 and the Master of Science in Agriculture, majoring
in horticulture in 1975. He taught horticulture for
nine years and was science department chair for twenty years
teaching chemistry/physics/math/biology. His students designed,
landscaped and maintained their campus.
He has had a life long interest in landscape
plants. As a graduate student at the
University
of
Florida
he spent many hours on campus and in the
University
of
Florida
herbarium observing and identifying the plethora of plants
on the campus.
While identifying the plants he discovered
there were no books with high quality photographs of
Florida
plants. A frequent complaint heard from homeowners and
students over the years about plant books is "The
pictures don't help."
This is the reason for Easy Care Landscape
Plants for Florida Homes. It is to help new
Florida
homeowners and beginners learn from high quality, high
resolution, full color photographs and select easy care
landscape plants for their home landscapes. |
