A
little bit about where I came from…..
I have to take a step back in time when everything centered
on Daddy’s ministry. My brother and I found
ourselves in the middle of places we didn’t choose...like
church three times a week, at least. When I was but a
wee child, Daddy would have me singing in front of
strangers, and believe me, some of them were strange. I
continued to minister in song: on radio, at churches, and
for funerals until the last few years.
We traveled a bit in those early days because Daddy was an
evangelist. We saw new faces about every two years or
so. I learned early on that walking in new places and
seeing new faces was not always an easy thing to do. I
also learned that you could get where you wanted to be with
determination and guidance.
Daddy was very
big on education and becoming a part of society that made
the difference in something or someone, values that are
instilled in me today. All that I strive to do, I owe to his
persistence and that of my loving mother.
In high school, grade 11, I became very ill and had to drop
out. It was years later before I was able to further
my education. I’ve had a few hurdles to jump and
valleys to cross, but since that time, I have completed
medical prep school, ICD coding, nursing school,
Institute
of
Children
’s Literature, and authored three books. My fourth
book is currently in the works. I also write poetry
and scripts for church plays. My poetry site may be
found at www.poetrypoem.com/poetic2050.
I entertain a mixture of blogging and various emotions at
PURPLE
LATCHES.
In
addition to www.gulfcoastauthor.com,
my books also may be purchased at www.Sandrahoynacki.com

under fiction.
Over
the past few years, I’ve been closely involved in various
facilities dealing with mental heath …this is my forte.
I retired from nursing to attend to my mother who was
diagnosed with Alzheimer’s a few years ago and lost my
father to cancer two years ago this coming July 14.
