Peter Booth

Peter Booth, a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and Stanford University, served in a wide mix of ships and carrier-based Navy fighter squadrons, including command of the Red Rippers and the nation's first super aircraft carrier, the USS Forrestal during the 1970s.  Following retirement from the Navy, he was president of two publicly-owned maritime companies and later returned to the sea as a part-time master of ocean-going research vessels.  Living in the Navy town of Pensacola, Florida with his wife Carolyn, he still flies his tiny airplane with a driving max speed of 140 mph and plus 3 Gs.
